The Farm on Doe Run

Dreams coming true.  I love farmers markets and have always dreamt of working on a farm.  We met Stacy and the rest of the crew from The Farm on Doe Run at a farmers market and fell in love with their cheese, arugula, and joy.  I bought a block of cheese from them, ate the whole thing in one sitting and then excitedly asked questions about farm life.  I have always wanted to WWOOF and work on a farm and somehow convinced them to give me a chance to volunteer one day.  Little did I know that I would get to explore one of the most beautiful farms that I can imagine, with a history so rich that it has tunnels from the underground railroad leading out through the basements of the farm houses. The whole family of workers at the Farm on Doe Run were kind, friendly and passionate about their work.  I feel so blessed and am eternally thankful for their friendship.  Follow them on Instagram @TheFarmAtDoeRun to see cute animal pictures and updates.
