Mr & Mrs Douglas were here

On this wedding day my heart melted.  The groom’s sister gave a toast in which she talked about how her older brother use to be so cynical about love until he met Trish.  And after that he couldn’t get enough of her and became one of the most sensitive grooms I have ever seen.  His bride said she had maybe seen him cry once before their wedding day, but on their wedding day everything was beautiful to him.  Seeing Trish walk down the isle, walking back up the isle with Trish, hugging everyone after the ceremony, finishing their couple portraits, the toasts, the mother son dance, and even watching one of his best friends dance with the kids.  It was beautiful and gave me so much joy and hope in love.  I got to spend the whole weekend in Lake Arrowhead with Trish & Criag’s friends and family and I left gaining a few more friends and memories.  I am so happy to know them and to have gotten to not only capture their love, but celebrate it with them.
