Charleston

People keep asking my favorite city out of the whole trip and I have been responding Charleston and Savannah (they are just under 2 hours apart).  The reason I say these cities is because they were the most unexpected.  I hadn’t heard much about either and they are both gorgeous, hip, artistic places.  The weather was also nice and warm, and as mentioned we didn’t do to well in the cold.  Wandering through the streets and tiny alleys of Charleston was so romantic, in the sense that it felt old-timey and simple.  It was the kind of place to enjoy a beverage on your porch and read a book in a hammock.  Nobody felt like they were in a hurry, but they were all out and about enjoying life.  The pictures will speak enough of how green and gorgeous the oak trees that umbrellaed over the roads were.  So enjoy and I hope they convince you to visit.
